Hi Dr V and Gerri Jordan,
I couldn't wait to tell you that since I got my Yar putter,
I've been getting better and better.
I recently shot my first under 80 score, a 78 on The Preserve at SaddleBrooke
(generally considered the tougher course!).
Holly and I have been getting a lot of attention with our putters.
Of course, the first thing the women notice is that they can pick up their balls with it,
but now they are also picking up on our putting results. So, what say you?
Thanks so very much. Take Care, Linda

The ground swell is beginning... If you just try it you'll buy it!!! Hope all is well
Guys, I played AZ National today for $29.50. It was a great day in the sun, shot a 78 and made me look forward to February.
Thought of you when I played today. I hit one in the lake in memory of George for both of you.
PS: Rob, the Yar is working out very well. I had Dr. V. put a couple more degrees of bend in the shaft to get it to lay flat on the green.
I am making longer putts than I ever did before. I also "sold" one to one of the better players out here and he is very pleased with it, too.
I just thought you would like to hear some good news after what the Sox did. Oh well, there is always next year.

Dear Dr V
Just a quick story. I lent my Yar putter to my friend / client to play golf at the Dutch Golf Club on monday, he rang today.... he won the competition and 1st prize was an (ODYSSEY PUTTER) now he want´s the Yar not his prize!!!!!!
Good Stuff, I have used it on putter fittings so far 10 out of 10 who have tried the Yar would want one, good news.
But as I have said to them it´s mine all mine (ah ha)
So tomorrow is my first fitting on the Yar I will or I might let the lady e.mail you I´ll see. I do believe the putter will sell very well here in the benelux fingers crossed.
Looking forward to here from you soon,
All the best from the Englishman in Holland.

Dear Gerri
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how my golf game has been improved since I put the Yar Golf GX1-WB putter into my golf bag. I will start off by telling you I became comfortable with the putter after about 10 putts on the practice green with the real test being immediately putting it into play at my local club's Member/Guest on the 1st day of a 27-Hole Day!
I limited my putts to no more than 15 for my 9-Hole matches that day and about the same on the 2nd day. But, it was an "eagle" I made on the 2nd day from 18 feet that really showed me what this putter can do!
It was not a straight putt, but, not one with too many turns either. I picked my target and stroked the GX1-WB down my line. Can you say center holed and $84 please!
Yes, I had just won the gross skin for that hole on this Par 5! Since then, I find it no coincidence that my handicap has come down from a 12 to an 8 index with me shooting 5 scores under 80 in the last 5 weeks!
The short game is very important, but, a Hot Putter can be a difference maker!! Thanks!!!
Cheers,
Glenn Hough

Dear Yar Golf
My partner Holly has been using the GX1 putter she acquired 2 years ago and she loves it!!
She is a 9 handicap and has caused quite a stir with her Yar putter... she was the most improved player in our Ladies Golf Association for 2010.
Just today, someone commented that it should really catch on among the active adults who have a hard time bending into the hole to retrieve their golf balls.
Putting has always been the weakest part of my game, but my Yar gives me a real chance.
All I have to do is keep my concentration, and I have been making some fantastic putts.
As a recent guest in a tournament, I played with someone I really didn't know.
About the 15th hole she said, "You've got a great putting stroke. Short backswing, and good follow-through."
Thanks to the balance of my Yar, I have the confidence to actually follow-through.
There is no doubt; I can attribute most of my three-stroke drop in my handicap to my Yar putter.
Thank you! Thank you!"

Subject: Re: My GX1 Putter
Dear Dr V.
I have had my new putter from you for 3 weeks.
It took no time to get used to the unusual feeling of complete balance. It also took me some time to allow the putter to do the work for me and just pendulum swing it. I am an
18 handicap at Moon Valley Country Club.
On Tuesday May 3rd, 2011 playing with 4 other players, I shot the lowest round at Moon Valley in 13 years since being a member. I can't remember breaking 80 in the last 20 years. I shot a 77 and made just about every putt I looked at. I have no fear of 3 putting any more. I can look at a short putt for par or a long put to get close and have the confidence I have been missing for the past 38 years of playing golf.
Not having to bend over and get my ball out of the hole is a back saver for me since I have had 4 back surgeries. It will take me a little while longer to break the habit of bending over to mark my ball on the green and let the putter do it for me.
Thank you for the technology that can take a player of my caliber and physical limitations and elevate me to a higher level. I have the confidence I never had. When will you start to develop a driver?
Sincerest Thanks,
Larry Burland

Hi Gerri and Doc,
Jacque (from Oregon) here.
Just wanted to tell you that I'm IN LOVE with my YAR putter!!!!!!
I didn't have a single 3 putt hole the first round of golf that Sandee and I played after purchasing the YAR! A miracle for sure. I even had a few "hero" putts.....from 15, 20 and 25 feet out. My heart nearly stopped. The other long putts that didn't go in the hole came within a couple of feet. Good grief. My golf partners were awestruck (they've golfed alot with me and KNOW how I usually putt...LOL).
Our friend, Susan Ferrel, called you for an appointment and her new YAR is being built as I write this. I'm sure she won't be the last of our friends to come your way. This putter sells itself!
My only question is this: When will you be designing drivers and fairway clubs? Please put my name at the top of your list when you decide to branch out!!!!
We really enjoyed meeting the two of you and were very sincere in our invitation to visit us in Oregon.
Thank you again for the awesome putter.

Dear Mr. Jordan,
You are definitely right. The Yar GX1-WB Putter is the No.1 putter in the world. I have been putting with this unbelievable putter for almost two weeks now and my putting average is 29 putts for 18 holes. I hope to bring down more as I get use to this amazing putter. My golf mates are besides themselves cause they have been paying for my green fees,my snacks and my lunch for the last 6 golf outings we had.

Just want to let you know that I used the putter for the first time at Las Sendas and immediately noticed that my putts were actually going in as opposed to bleeding out to the right.
The pro who fitted me at Shalimar was right on with my stroke and I am a believer.
Thanks,

Yar Golf: Dateline: October 16, 2010.
This is an unbelievable story regarding the service I received from Yar Golf.
On Saturday, October 10th, I was having an issue with my Yar putter so I connected to the Yar Golf website, navigated to the "fitting" page, and submitted my information and my measurements.
On Monday, October 11th, I received a telephone call from a Dr. V. regarding my e-mail. During the conversation we discussed the following -- whether or not I had eyesight issues (I am legally blind in my left eye), an inquiry asking if I looked at the target or the ball when I putted (I look at the target, which I have been doing successfully for the past year and a half).
Based upon our conversation and re-evaluating my measurements Dr. V said she would personally customize a Yar GX1 putter for me. I indicated that I had a match scheduled for Sunday, October 16th and she assured me that I would have the putter before that date and indicated that I was not to send back my original Dealer purchased Yar putter before I had a chance to compare the two. Lo and behold -- on Friday, October 15th the newly designed putter was at my front door.
I have never experienced in my 50+ years of golf the service that was afforded to me. Not only is this a great putter, Yar has proved to be an incredibly customer friendly company.
I wish then many years of success.
Thank you
Allen Griffith

Dr V: Dateline: August 3, 2010.
My first round was a tough one with the putter, but I found that I didn't quite trust it yet.
The following week, trust settled in and I was sinking everything. Even my long putts over 30 feet were so close they were tap ins. I finished that second round with 28 putts and never in my life have I putted that well.
My typical round now is around 30 putts, but I rarely ever 3 putt not and sink a good portion of those putts 15 - 20 feet - 60% and about 70% of those putts around 10 feet.
I totally trust my YAR now and typically can't wait to use it each week.
Thank you very much for building it and doing such a great job.
I feel that my game has been elevated and I am forever in your debt.
Thank you and I hope you continue your successes

The second time I took the GX1-WB out for a round of golf, I shot 4-under-par 32 on the front nine, my lowest nine-hole score ever. I wound up shooting 70 that day with five birdies. I was playing with two pros and they were amazed. Now, they want one, too!
Thanks so much for transforming my putting. I am grateful.

Just the thing to cure aprehension in your putting. You can eliminate that extensive collection of putters you thought you loved, and now you hate after you get busy having fun with your new GX-1 putter. The fit and feel is so right from the very beginning, you overcome all the angst you've been suffering from forever so long. So, get busy, get yours, and start enjoying golf again.
I am.
